Catherine Arnold, MS, RDN, LDN, CPT
My passion for cooking inspired my journey to becoming a registered dietitian, a career that continues to fuel my enthusiasm for health and wellness. Both my undergraduate degree from Miami University and Master’s in Nutrition from Cornell University provided me with a solid foundation in evidence-based nutrition. To complement my expertise, I became a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise, enabling me to seamlessly integrate fitness into my holistic approach to health.
With over 20 years of experience working as a registered dietitian in clinical settings, 5 years running a private practice, and work as a personal trainer, I have gained a deep understanding of the unique challenges women encounter as they navigate midlife and beyond. I believe in taking a personalized, evidence-based approach to nutrition and wellness, helping clients build habits that fit their lives and support their goals. My focus is on empowering clients to prioritize their health, achieve sustainable weight management, address the hormonal, metabolic, and lifestyle changes, and embrace every stage of life with confidence and vitality.

Katarina Ashburn, MS, RDN, LDN, CPT
A college course redirected the trajectory of my professional life towards becoming a registered dietitian. My understanding of the power of food and how it nourishes our bodies to optimize our health has been my passion ever since. Earning my Master’s at Cornell University, certifying as a personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise, and completing a multitude of trainings over the last twenty-five years has expanded my expertise in nutrition and exercise. The exposure to incredible people in both work and life as a military spouse, however, has been my inspiration. What I hold true as a woman in my fifties is that life is complicated, we are not perfect, and the world we live in provides great challenges to our health. Making behavior changes that fit and are sustainable has to be driven by the person who desires change. I aim to combine my expertise with your life experience on a path to help you achieve your health and wellness goals.

Let’s Get “Frisk-y”!
Undeniably, we are tickled by the multiple meanings of the word “frisk-y.” It stems from the Swedish definition of frisk, “healthy, well, sound, powerful, strong, fresh.” It resonates with our goals for our clients; to feel Frisk-y!
As menopause approaches and settles in, all the physical, mental, and emotional changes can make you feel like you are having an out of body experience. Our bodies seem to morph overnight, our libidos give their two weeks notice, and any empathy and patience we have left after juggling life are washed down the drain. For some, a surge of heat in a cool room helps you connect the dots to finally realize that the big “M” has arrived. We deserve to feel better than this and we can.
Let’s work to feel “frisk-y” again, in all meanings of the word.
